In this video, I made a steamed salmon on a bed of blanched watercress with hot pepper honey sauce mixed with fresh ginger and lemon juice. Also, I mixed some lemon juice with a drop of cranberry juice for a nice red color.
This recipe is inspired by DASH diet. DASH stands for Dietary Approaches To Stop Hypertension. It is a healthy-eating plan to treat high blood pressure which is an underlying condition associated with Chronic Kidney Disease. Watch the entire video to learn what food is included in the DASH diet, what foods to avoid and what cooking technique and cookware is recommended.
