Here are some incredible tips and how I actually alter recipes to make them Low Fodmap SIBO gut friendly! I walk you through my process. MY GO-TO DRESSING RECIPE
1/3 C Olive Oil
1/4 Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother
1 Juice from 1 Whole Lemon or 2TBSP of Lemon Juice
1 TBSP Dijon Mustard
1 TBSP Stone Ground Mustard
1 TBSP Grade A LIGHT Pure Maple Syrup
Pinch of Salt (I use pink Himalayan sea salt)
Crack of Fresh Pepper
Chop up Fresh Herbs to taste! I like to add a bunch of Rosemary, Thyme & Oregano
If you don’t have fresh herbs you can easily use 1 tsp of Italian Seasoning (Just check your labels!!!)
SALMON CAKE RECIPE
1-1/2 lb Salmon
1 Egg
1/2 Red Bell Pepper
1/2 Yellow Bell Pepper
3 Green Onions (Green part only!)
1 Tbsp Coconut Aminos
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp (heaped) Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Ancho Chili Pepper
1/2 tsp (heaped) Chili Powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly cracked pepper
Directions
1) Preheat the oven to 400 Degrees F
2) Line a baking pan with parchment paper
3) Add ALL ingredients in a food processor then pulse until finely chopped and the resulting mixture can be shaped into patties
4) Shape the mixture into equal patties of equal size.
5) Place patties on the prepared baking sheet
6) Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20, or until until lightly browned and firm to the touch
I ate mine with 1/2 cup of white rice and a handful of mixed greens and avocado! These foods feel good in MY body! Listen to your body ALWAYS!
